So first things first, download and install Visual Studio 2013 Community. Be sure that you select Community and not one of the 90 trial editions. The community install is a complete and full functioning version of Visual Studio, but with some limitations on the size of your company.
Mono on Linux before 3.12 by default didn't trust any SSL certificates so you got errors when accessing HTTPS resources. This is not required anymore as 3.12 and later include a new tool that runs on package installation and syncs Mono's certificate store with the system certificate store (on older versions you had to import Mozilla's list of trusted certificates by running mozroots --import --sync). Some systems are configured in a way so that the necessary package isn't pulled in when Mono is installed, in those cases make sure the ca-certificates-mono package is installed.
We are nearing a full release. To make sure it is as stable as it can be we highly encourage everybody to play some games and report any issues in the comments below, on our forum, Community Discord, or on GitHub.
That's why Activision has heavily invested in boosting COD's popularity by hiring celebrities for the MW2 trailer and introducing several groundbreaking game modes like DMZ and Warzone 2. On top of that, Infinity Ward has done something never before: let players play the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 campaign a week early before its full launch. There have also been some slight changes to the release schedule for MW2, so players that don't want to miss a second of the launch will want to know all about it.
Starting October 19th, any gamer that pre-ordered Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 (Standard, Cross-Gen, or Vault Edition) can pre-load the full Campaign onto their chosen gaming system. But, players that purchased the Playstation or Xbox versions of COD MW2 will be able to pre-load the full game starting October 20th (10AM PT), while PC players (Steam or Battle.net) will be able to pre-load the full game starting October 26th (10AM PT).

The first version of the FlatRedBall engine was started by Vic Chelaru in 2005 using the Managed DirectX engine and the C# programming language. Over time it grew from just an engine to a set of tools always focused on iteratively improving game development speed. FlatRedBall was rebuilt for XNA and then decoupled when Microsoft withdrew their XNA support. FlatRedBall builds upon the cross-platform capabilities of MonoGame, supporting mobile game development. Today, FlatRedBall continues to innovate and iterate. Primary development continues to be driven by Vic on commercial game projects, with support from volunteers and the community.
Mono is a really clever concept for a horror game that constantly subverts player expectations, it includes a few well placed scares and has some pretty neat gameplay mechanics. We had a really fun time playing this indie horror game and look forward to the full release on Steam if it gets greenlit.
I really like the idea, but unfortunately I didn't find the game that scary. The dancing monster in the find section just made me laugh. Obviously I know it's a demo, but hopefully with some user feedback you can make the full game much better! I wish you luck with the game!
This game is really fantastic! At first I thought that Mono was just gonna be a simple "Point-and-Click" horror game but NOOO, it turned out to be a really good free-roaming horror game! I really can't wait for the finishing outcome of the final version! Here's my playthrough:
